The Time stop effect creates a frozen-in-time look by capturing and holding frames, allowing you to create dramatic pauses, slow-motion or lag effects.
How it works
Time stop works by capturing frames at specific intervals and holding them until the next capture point. This creates a stuttering, frame-by-frame effect that simulates frozen time or a low framerate. The effect can be configured to capture frames at regular intervals or to completely freeze on a single frame.
Use cases
- Simulating stuttering or glitchy video playback
Controllers
| Name | Type | Description | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frame Skip | Number | Number of frames to skip between updates | 0-60 |
Tip
Setting Frame Skip to 0 will completely freeze the image on a single frame. Higher values create a stuttering slow-motion effect, with the effect assuming 60fps playback.
