The Streak glow effect creates directional light streaks that emanate from bright areas in your image, similar to anamorphic lens flares or light streaking effects.
Warning
This effect is very performance intensive at low step counts.
How it works
Streak glow isolates bright areas of the image based on a threshold, then creates directional light rays emanating from these bright points. The effect samples along multiple rays to create a star-like pattern of light streaks.
Unlike the standard Bloom effect which creates a uniform glow in all directions, Streak glow creates directional streaks that can be configured to create various ray patterns.
Use cases
- creating star-like glints on bright objects
- adding directional light streaks from light sources
