The Impact Ripple effect creates an expanding circular wave distortion that emanates from a central point, similar to ripples in water after an impact.
How it works
Impact Ripple generates a single expanding wave that distorts the image as it travels outward from a defined center point. The wave can be set to automatically animate or be manually controlled for precise timing.
Unlike the Repeating Ripple effect which creates continuous waves, Impact Ripple creates a single wave that expands outward, making it ideal for one-time impact effects.
Use cases
- Creating impact or explosion effects
- Simulating shockwaves or distortion pulses
