The Fish eye 2 effect provides an alternative implementation of fisheye distortion with more precise controls for horizontal and vertical distortion separately.
How it works
Fish eye 2 applies a spherical distortion to the image with separate controls for horizontal and vertical stretching. This allows for more controlled distortion effects than the standard Fish eye effect, including anamorphic-style stretching in one dimension. It also looks similar to the lens correction effects available in professional VFX software.
Use cases
- Creating anamorphic lens effects
- Achieving more customizable fisheye distortions
